About the role

This is a full time remote role.

We are seeking a Director of Reddit Marketing Operations to lead, optimize, and scale our 3 year old Reddit division. This role requires a results-driven, innovative, and resourceful leader who can manage a team, troubleshoot operational challenges, and adapt to Reddit's ever-evolving algorithms. You’ll take over the day-to-day management of our marketing operation, empowering our team and technology to deliver exceptional results while driving growth and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:
- Oversee a team of Reddit Specialists that are data entry professionals based in the Philippines who create accounts and publish content on Reddit.
- KPI's and performance metrics to ensure team accountability and consistent delivery.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews for team members.

Strategic Problem-Solving:
- Identify and adapt to changes in Reddit’s algorithmic updates and platform rules that affect our marketing operations.
- Test, develop and implement innovative solutions to circumvent roadblocks
- You need to be scrappy marketer, this role is not for the faint of heart

Technology Oversight:
- Collaborate with the India-based development team to enhance and refine our in-house software for automating manual tasks.
- Current projects include "LeadTree" ping post lead distribution app, "CodeRedd" app that includes many operational tasks including upvotes, comments and posts  

Operational Excellence:
- Monitor the day-to-day execution of Reddit marketing campaigns, including account creation, publishing, and performance metrics.
- Scale operations effectively by optimizing workflows, processes, and tools.
- Oversee content marketing quality and strategy

Growth and Optimization:
- Develop strategies to expand Reddit marketing operations, including testing new approaches, scaling successful tactics, and exploring adjacent opportunities.
- Stay informed about Reddit trends, tools, and tactics to keep the business ahead of competitors.

About you

Qualifications:

Experience:
- Proven track record of managing digital marketing operations
- Experience leading remote teams, especially in the Philippines or similar regions.
- Familiarity with automation tools, AI-driven content creation, and software project management.

Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a "scrappy" mindset to adapt to challenges.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage diverse responsibilities and teams.
- Technical aptitude to oversee software development projects and troubleshoot operational issues.

Other:
- Knowledge of Reddit’s platform, community norms, and algorithmic updates.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision.
